The Nigerian Yorkshire Communities Network UK CIC Foodshare/Foodbank Programme(FEEDING OUR COMMUNITY SCHEME,TACKLING FOOD WASTE) collection and distribution is a mobile food bank that was launched in April 2021, and since then we have worked and partnership with various food suppliers all over Yorkshire & outside to collect food items & distribute food parcels to community families, our partnership, food suppliers have pledged to continue their free supply of food items to our organisation as to support and further our cause to continue feed and tackle food waste, to support families, students going through hardship who have been affected by the COVID-19 since March 2020 up to date high cost of living for families, as of today we have distribute food parcel on a weekly basis to community areas, organisations, Universities all around Yorkshire, as off today we are proud to have reached community areas within Yorkshire a distribution of more than 10,000 food parcels of various Ethnic, English and European food to deprived areas that are in need due to lack of employment, redundancy, poverty, families and children unable to afford daily meals due to the high inflation, high process in all sectors and also with the effect of the high cost of living,and this is the reason why our organisation is 100% committed to continue to support families as our number one priority feeding the community & tackling food waste in Leeds & Yorkshire by working in partnership with various supermarkets through Fareshare & Neigbourly UK
